OASIS - OASIS TAKE TOP TWO SPOTS IN BEST BRITISH ALBUM POLL

Rockers OASIS have scored a double in a new poll to find the best British albums of all time - the band's discs DEFINITELY MAYBE and (WHAT'S THE STORY) MORNING GLORY? landed first and second place, respectively. The group's 1994 debut Definitely Maybe came top in the poll by U.K. music magazine Q and retailer HMV, with two other Oasis releases also making it into the top 25. Radiohead's OK Computer was named in third place, while the Beatles' Revolver came in at number five. Q magazine editor Paul Rees says, "It's clear that, having polled three times more votes than any other act, Oasis are undoubtedly the nation's most loved band."
