KASABIAN - OASIS STAR JOINS KASABIAN ON STAGE

KASABIAN were joined onstage by OASIS singer NOEL GALLAGHER as they performed for new years eve revellers in Edinburgh.
The SHOOT THE RUNNER band performed an hour-long set in Edinburgh Gardens as part of the city's annual Hogmanay celebrations.
Noel joined them onstage for their final three songs, CLUB FOOT, STUNTMAN and LSF.
The show was the Leicester band's last before they head into the studio to record their third album.
KASABIAN's frontman TOM MEIGHAN expressed his delight to have played to the 90,000 strong crowd, shouting: "Edinburgh, you have been f****** empire, I f****** love you. I didn't want to be anywhere except here."
He then dedicated the final song, LSF, to the late Motherwell FC footballer PHIL O'DONNELL, who died tragically over the weekend.
Meanwhile, X-FACTOR winner LEON JACKSON has expressed his disappointment over missing Hogmanay as he was looking forward to meeting KASABIAN.
Leon, who was due to open the celebrations, is currently suffering from tonsillitis which caused him to miss the festivities.
A source told the Mirror: "He's a massive fan. He was bitterly disappointed."
