OASIS - OASIS FRONTMAN TO WED ON SATURDAY?

OASIS star LIAM GALLAGHER will exchange vows with ALL SAINTS singer NICOLE APPLETON in a surprise ceremony on Saturday (20Oct07), according to British tabloid reports. The couple announced their intentions to wed earlier this month (Oct07) after a seven-year romance. But newspaper the Daily Mirror claims the wedding will take place on Saturday - one week before their originally planned date of 26 October (07). Earlier this week (ends19Oct07), an exited Appleton hinted at her plans for a low-key ceremony, saying: "It's important to me and I love the idea of being married. A few of my friends are getting married and it's such a stress. It becomes like a circus and people don't dare mention the w-word." It will be the first marriage for Appleton, who is mother to the rocker's six-year-old son Gene. Gallagher divorced actress Patsy Kensit in 2000.
