PAOLO NUTINI - NUTINI RELIEVED AFTER WINEHOUSE TOUR CANCELLED

Scots star PAOLO NUTINI is relieved AMY WINEHOUSE has cancelled their joint U.S. tour after she behaved strangely around him. The Last Request singer was set to support Winehouse on her U.S. and Canadian tour, but it was cancelled earlier this month (Aug07) after the Rehab star was hospitalised following three days of hard-partying. Nutini admits Winehouse didn't even acknowledge him when they performed at England's Isle Of Wight festival in June (07). He says, "I was looking forward to it but there were funny vibes at the Isle Of Wight festival. "She did the gig with the (Rolling) Stones and we were at the side of the stage and she walked by. "I didn't even get a hello, but the U.S. gigs had already been booked." Nutini has now scheduled his own tour. He adds, "I'll be thinking a good thought for Amy. She is a remarkable talent."
