Eco-friendly actor EDWARD NORTON celebrated Earth Day on Tuesday (22Apr08) by encouraging the movie industry to be more green.
Norton, the son of a green activist, insists the entertainment community has set a good example by embracing environmentally-friendly practices.
But he wants Hollywood to do more.
He says, "I think the studios are doing their part. Not just because it's the right thing to do, but because it's cost effective. They need to look at the way films get made. There's a lot of waste in the way we make films."
The Fight Club star narrates environmental series Strange Days on Planet Earth, which airs on U.S. TV network PBS on Tuesday evening.
