SUPERGRASS - NOAH AND THE WHALE ADDED TO GET LOADED LINEUP
Noah and the Whale have been confirmed as the final addition to the Get Loaded in the Park lineup.
The nu-folk four piece - whose debut album Peaceful The World Lays Me Down is released on August 11th - will take to the stage on London's Clapham Common alongside the likes of Kate Nash, Supergrass and Iggy Pop and the Stooges.
"We always try and keep at least one slot back for one final breakthrough band and we're over the moon to have captured NATW before future summer smash Five Years Time is set to gatecrash the UK top ten," the Get Loaded organisers explained.
"Five Years Time is a wonderfully cheery feel-good song and the perfect festival soundtrack," they added.
"Whereas last year Rihanna gave us her Umbrella track and months of rain, it looks like Noah and the Whale are the real reason behind the recent good weather as they sing about 'Sun, Sun, Sun all over our bodies'."
It also been confirmed that this year's Get Loaded in the Park - the fifth incarnation of the event - is the fastest-selling yet, with all saver tickets now sold out.
