KATE NASH - NEWCOMER NASH TOPS ALBUM CHARTS
British pop newcomer KATE NASH went straight to the top of the U.K. album charts with her debut disc MADE OF BRICKS on Sunday (12Aug07).
The 20-year-old singer's knocked last week's (05Aug07) number one, talent show winner Paul Potts' disc One Chance off the top spot, despite competition by new albums from The Coral (Roots + Echoes) and rock newcomers Ben's Brother (Beta Male Fairytales).
Meanwhile, Swedish pop sensation Robyn is ruling the singles charts with her Eurodance anthem With Every Heartbeat, knocking last week's number one The Way I Are by Timbaland featuring Keri Hilson to number two.
New entries in the singles chart include Kanye West's Stronger at three and The Plane White Ts at six with Hey There Delilah.
