DWAYNE JOHNSON - NEW YEAR REVELLERS TO BATTLE THE STORMS

Partygoers across the UK will be turning out in force to welcome in 2007 in the face of gales and downpours.
The Met office has issued severe weather warnings in ten British regions, including all of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and the north of England, but for many party organisers the show will go on.
Edinburgh's legendary Hogmanay celebrations will include a performance by indie band The Fratellis and will take place over three outdoor arenas in the historic city.
Belfast's festivities will centre on the Rock the Hall event and will see crooner Tony Christie, rockers The Thrills and soul goddess Beverly Knight sing in the new year.
Sadly, Liverpool city council has been forced to cancel the planned firework display due to the treacherous weather conditions.
Highlights in the capital include the London Eye fireworks display and Kylie Minogue will begin the UK leg of her tour with a New Year's Eve extravaganza.
Kylie's special gig in Wembley Arena sold out within 40 minutes of going on sale. The Showgirl performance will see the tiny Aussie return to the stage in true glittery fashion after eighteen months successfully battling against breast cancer.
She may be used to a warmer climate but the weather won't be deterring Kylie as she told fans: "Glam up and I'll see you there!"
