STROKES - NEW ACTS CONFIRMED FOR LATITUDE

Charlotte Hatherley has been added to the line-up for the Latitude Festival, playing on the Uncut stage.

The former Ash guitarist released her second solo album, The Deep Blue, earlier this year after quitting from her former band Ash.

Air Traffic are another addition to the stage along with Fields, Loney Dear and Angus and Julia Stone.

The Uncut stage now boasts Patrick Wolf and Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr as well as Ivor Novello winner Scott Matthews.

Latitude takes place at Henham Park in Suffolk and runs from July 12th to July 15th, comprising musical performances, theatre, poetry and comedy.

Headliners on the main Obelisk Arena include the Good, the Bad and the Queen, Arcade Fire, CSS and Cold War Kids.

Meltdown festival curator Jarvis Cocker is also playing the headline stage after releasing his debut solo album last year.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now and are priced at £112 for a weekend ticket with camping and £45 for a day ticket.
