British pop star KATE NASH has launched a scathing attack on THE X-FACTOR winner LEONA LEWIS - claiming she deserved to triumph against the singer at last month's (Feb08) Brit Awards because she isn't "manufactured". The Foundations hitmaker caused an upset after scooping the award for Best British Female at the event - an accolade the Bleeding Love diva was expected to win. But the 20-year-old feels she earned the award, because she is a genuine artist who has mastered her own path to stardom. She says, "'Leona seems like a really nice girl. But I think it was really good I won it because I started this myself. I'm not a manufactured, size-zero pop artist who is going to bring out her own perfume and clothes range. The star also blamed fellow female pop stars for portraying a perfect image to their impressionable fans, insisting some young girls consider suicide due to their unattainable beauty. She adds, "There are teenage girls who grow up wanting to kill themselves because they can't be as pretty as the girls in the magazines. But I'm quite normal, so it's great."
