Newcomer KATE NASH credits LILY ALLEN with helping her crack the charts, because the Smile hitmaker was championing her music from the beginning. Before finding fame, Nash befriended Allen on networking site MySpace.com - where Allen launched her own career - and the two singers became friends. She says, "I've met her at music festivals and we've spoken on the phone a couple of times early on, before she got majorly busy and started touring the whole world. She's cool, she's supportive. It was so sweet of her to put out bulletins saying she liked my music."
