NAS - NAS SHOCKED BY PREMATURE ALBUM REVIEW

Rapper NAS has piled more pressure on U.S. magazine Maxim by accusing the publication of writing a review of his album - even though it isn't finished yet. Maxim magazine published a premature analysis of his forthcoming CD - controversially titled Nigger - giving the record a score of 2/5. But the star is convinced the publication would not be able to give his work a fair rating - as the disc has not been completed - but insists he isn't bothered by the review. He tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "I'm finishing the album now, and it will be out 22 April (08). I'd prefer (a review from) Playboy. "That kind of stuff doesn't reach my radar or effect anybody around me. I don't know what a music rating from Maxim is... I don't know what it even means really." Maxim was embroiled in controversy this week (beg25Feb08) after rock band the Black Crowes accused the magazine of giving their new album a negative review without listening to the CD.
