NAIR TO FLY WITH SWANK IN AMELIA
LATEST: VANITY FAIR filmmaker MIRA NAIR has replaced PHILIP NOYCE as the director of HILARY SWANK's AMELIA EARHART biopic. Noyce recently revealed he'd quit the project due to ongoing delays just before Christmas (07), and now website MovieHole.net, which broke the news, reveals Nair will step in to fill the vacancy. Swank will play aviator Earhart in Amelia. The iconic American women's rights advocate disappeared over the central Pacific Ocean during an attempt to fly around the world in 1937.
