MUD - MUD DRUMMER MOUNT DIES

MUD drummer DAVE MOUNT has died after a battle with illness. He was 59. Mount formed the TIGER FEET group with frontman LES GRAY, ROB DAVIS and RAY STILES in 1966 and enjoyed a string of British hits in the 1970s. Mud disbanded in the late 1970s after severing their partnership with producers NICKY CHINN and MIKE CHAPMAN, with Mount moving into the insurance industry. He passed away on 2 December (06).
