MR BEAN'S HOLIDAY went straight to the top of the UK box office over the weekend (31MAR-01APR07), taking GBP4.5 million ($8.7 million) over the beginning of the Easter holidays. The comedy, starring ROWAN ATKINSON as the clumsy loner, knocked last week's (24-25MAR07) number one, war epic 300 down to number two. Other new entries were horror sequel THE HILLS HAVE EYES II at number three and animation MEET THE ROBINSONS at number four.
