MOORE PAYS TRIBUTE TO BOWIE'S VIDEO ART
SONIC YOUTH star THURSTON MOORE has co-curated a video art show based on the work of his hero DAVID BOWIE.
Moore and New York Museum of Modern Art curator Barbara London worked through 40 years of Bowie's videos, which the rock legend donated to MoMA to select the items on display on Monday night (01Dec08).
The picks included Mick Rock-directed promos for The Jean Genie and John, I’m Only Dancing as well as MTV classics like China Girl.
Rock was among the guests of honour.
