MONTERO SLAMS FALSE SPLIT RUMOURS

Mexican pop star PABLO MONTERO has blasted rumours he has split from his model/actress girlfriend SANDRA VIDAL.
The singer, real name Oscar Hernandez, was alleged to have ended his romance with Vidal - the mother of his young son Pablito - last week (ends29Aug08) - but Montero insists there is no truth to the claims.
The singer insists the media is making too much of the fact his hectic work schedule has been keeping him away from his family recently.
He tells PeopleEnEspanol.com, "It's not true. She lives in Los Angeles and I'm in Mexico for the soap (Fuego en la Sangre), but I see her every time I get the chance."
And Montero plans to make it up to little Pablito, who will soon celebrate his first birthday.
He adds, "I plan on giving my son a big surprise. I'm going to give him a horse... I'll give up anything for my son."
