MICHELLE MONAGHAN - MONAGHAN GETS TRUCKING LICENSE FOR NEW FILM

Actress MICHELLE MONAGHAN was so determined to look the part of a long-distance hauler in new film TRUCKER she insisted in learning how to drive a juggernaut.
The pretty star was an unlikely choice to play the gritty lead in the low-budget film and she told producers she'd only sign up if she passed her trucking license test.
Monaghan says, "If I wasn't able to get my license, I wasn't going to do the movie, because, for me, it was such an essential part of the movie. I didn't want to fake it.
"It really takes a lot of muscle, so I worked out for a couple of weeks, doing weights for arms... It needed to look believable that I was driving a truck."
