HELEN MIRREN - MIRREN: 'BECKHAM COULD BE A SILENT STAR'

Oscar hopeful DAME HELEN MIRREN is convinced DAVID BECKHAM can make it as an actor - but only in silent roles. Beckham is being tipped to try his hand in Hollywood when he moves to Los Angeles in the summer (07). Mirren is impressed with the soccer star's looks, but fears his high-pitched voice will let him down. She says, "(He is) possibly one of the most beautiful men in the world. "If he had a role where he didn't have a big, long speech, maybe a silent role, I think he'd be wonderful."
