KYLIE MINOGUE - MINOGUE WOWS AUDIENCE AT BRITISH COMEBACK

KYLIE MINOGUE was given a standing ovation before she sang a single note at her British comeback concert on New Year's Eve (31DEC06), moving the singer to tears. The SPINNING AROUND star was forced to delay the start of the gig at London's Wembley Arena because the noise from the 12,000-strong crowd was so overwhelming. The concert was the Australian singer's first British gig since finishing the chemotherapy treatment that followed her breast cancer diagnosis in May 2005. Minogue, who is based in London, was overcome with emotion at the reception she received from her 'hometown' audience. She said, "I love you all and want to thank you for your support and encouragement always. I'm so happy to bring in the New Year with you."
