KYLIE MINOGUE - MINOGUE IN AWE OF DOCTOR WHO DALEK

Pop star KYLIE MINOGUE was delighted to take part in a photoshoot for the official magazine of British sci-fi series DOCTOR WHO - because it was the first time she had seen a "legendary" Dalek first-hand. The diminutive Spinning Around hitmaker makes a cameo appearance as waitress Astrid Perth in an upcoming holiday special of the hit BBC programme, and admits she's such a fan of the show, she was in awe of the iconic robot at the recent magazine shoot. She says, "I was in the presence of a legend. The Dalek was in great condition, and much bigger than I'd expected." And she jokes, "I've had to gracefully accept second billing. Well, at least I'm younger. And I've met one now - I didn't in the Christmas episode."
