HEATHER MILLS - MILLS WANTS L.A. MOVE

LATEST: HEATHER MILLS is moving to America after all, despite recently complaining she couldn't afford to buy a new home there.
The former glamour model - who recently won a $50 million (GBP25 million) divorce settlement from former Beatle Sir Paul MCCartney - revealed her plans to audience members at the Miss U.S.A. beauty pageant in Las Vegas on Saturday (12Apr08), where she was a judge.
Despite being booed when she was introduced to the crowd, she told audience members, "In England, people don't like me. But I'm going to move to America, Los Angeles, hopefully. I'll be better off in the States."
Mills was recently spotted househunting in New York City, but her spokesperson has moaned she can't afford to live in the Big Apple, claiming, "She doesn't have that much money. It (the divorce settlement)'s a lot of money to a regular person, but once you want to start supporting good causes, that money goes really quick."
