MILLS SETTLES ON NEW YORK APARTMENT
LATEST: HEATHER MILLS has followed through on her plans to move to New York after closing on a new apartment in the city.
Mills, who won a $50 million (GBP25 million) divorce settlement from former Beatle Sir Paul MCCartney earlier this year (08), was rumoured to be on the hunt for a new pad in the Big Apple and Los Angeles, and has been spotted house-hunting on both coasts.
The former glamour model closed the deal on a full-floor condominium in the city's celebrity-studded West Village area - after passing an extensive overview with the building's board members, steered by designer Calvin Klein.
Millls signed the contract in June (08) for the two-bedroom Perry Street pad, reportedly paying just under the $5 million (GBP2.5 million) asking price.
The new New Yorker will be living on the very same street where Sarah Jessica Parker's Sex and the City character Carrie Bradshaw lived in the show.

the co op board can dump mill$$$ whenever they want.
hmmmmmmmmmmmm, could nyc apt because sir paul has holding in new york.
its a good place to steal from wealthy residence. until they wise up.
