MICHAELS PINING FOR LAST ROCK OF LOVE WINNER

POISON frontman BRET MICHAELS is looking for love in a new series of reality dating show ROCK OF LOVE WITH BRET MICHAELS - even though he's still pining after the last season's winner, AMBRE LAKE.
The rocker is due to start shooting the third run of the VH1 programme - in which a bus-full of girls vie for his attentions - next month (Sep08).
But Michaels admits his heart won't be in it - because he still harbours feelings for season two's Lake, 37. The couple split in July (08), citing their conflicting work schedules for the break up.
He tells People.com, "I still love her. I'm not really over her yet.
"We still hang. She was just out with me a couple days ago and we were having a great time. She's really got it. I think she's great."
However, Michaels is well aware of the reasons for his failed relationships.
He adds, "The reason for destruction of all my relationships is that I'm passionate about being on the road and making music. I have great relationships. But the women I date don't realise that I spend between six and eight months of my life on the road - touring or travelling or seeing family with my daughters."
