Rap mogul IRV GOTTI's longtime friend KENNETH 'SUPREME' MCGRIFF has been sentenced to life in federal prison without the possibility of parole for hiring hitmen to kill two rivals in 2001.
MCGriff was spared the death penalty after jurors in a Brooklyn, New York federal court were split on sentencing him to death on Friday (09FEB07).
On 1 February (07), MCGriff was found guilty of drug dealing and murder for hire, for paying $50,000 (GBP25,650) to shoot dead rivals TROY SINGLETON and ERIC 'E MONEY BAGS' SMITH.
MCGriff has long been associated with Gotti - real name IRV LORENZO - and his Tha Inc clients, like JA RULE. In the late 1990s, he teamed up with Gotti to produce movies and music, reports AllHipHop.com.
