EWAN MCGREGOR - MCGREGOR SUFFERS AT THE HANDS OF COUNTRY MUSIC FAN

EWAN MCGREGOR was forced to suffer in silence at his hotel in New York, while making new movie DECEPTION, because his neighbour insisted on playing loud, depressing country songs.
The Scottish star eventually had to invest in a pair of earplugs, so he could get a good night's sleep.
He recalls, "I just worked and went home and prepared for the next day. I was very studious.
"But my bedroom was clearly next to this lady's bedroom next door and she liked to play long, slow, slightly melancholy country + western music way into the night.
"I'd be sitting there, going, 'Cheer up, come on!' I was very British about it; I should have gone and knocked on her door and said, 'Darling, I don't know if you know but I can hear your music. Do you mind turning it down?'
"I just put earplugs in and I would kind of suffer in silence."
