JOHN MAYER - MAYER + SIMPSON GET ROMANTIC IN ROME

Singers JOHN MAYER and JESSICA SIMPSON have taken their romance to Europe after they were spotted sightseeing in Rome, Italy on Friday (09MAR07). The couple tried to remain incognito as they arrived at an Italian airport but locals spotted the pair and now it seems Mayer and Simpson no longer care who spots them as they holiday in the European capital. They ventured out of their hotel without bodyguards to take in the sights, holding hands and smooching at every opportunity. The couple also dined at TOM CRUISE's favourite Italian restaurant Da Bolognese. The couple's romance was announced last year (06) but both Mayer and Simpson denied the stories. The romance became obvious earlier this year (07) when Simpson joined Mayer on tour in North America.
