Singer JOHN MAYER has laughed off rumours claiming he "Googles himself every morning". In a recent report by New York Post's gossip column PageSix, the publication alleged the rocker is so obsessed with his image, he regularly checks his online popularity via search engine Google - so that he can confirm or deny the reports himself "just to clear the air". But in a new post on his blog on Monday (24Mar08) morning, Mayer insists the claims are "quite simply, untrue".
