SCISSOR SISTERS - MATRONIC ATTACKS LET-OFF FOR HOMOPHOBIC GANG
SCISSOR SISTERS star ANA MATRONIC is fuming after a gang that carried out a homophobic attack on two of her friends escaped jail.
The star's pals Nina Meffen and Carol Cashmore were assaulted by two teenage girls and a man in Southampton, England last year (06). Meffen was so badly hurt she needed reconstructive surgery.
All three attackers escaped prison sentences, and Matronic is disgusted.
She says, "I am really horrified and disgusted that, in particular, the one person who instigated this attack did not get sent to jail.
"She seems like a true menace and someone who is quite capable of doing this type of thing again."
