MATHEW KNOWLES: 'NO FEUD BETWEEN BEYONCE AND NE-YO'
BEYONCE KNOWLES' manager father MATHEW has dismissed claims he is angry with R+B star NE-YO for claiming he wrote the pop sensation's number one hit, Irreplaceable.
Ne-Yo recently hit out at Beyonce, claiming she had taken full credit for the song - which he insists they co-wrote.
He told MTV, "Apparently Beyonce was at a show somewhere and right before the song came on, she said: 'I wrote this for my girls...' The song is a co-write. I wrote all the lyrics. Beyonce helped me with the melodies and the harmonies and the vocal arrangement, and that makes it a co-write."
But Mathew Knowles insists there is no feud, telling the New York Daily News, "Today is the first day I learned I'm unhappy with Ne-Yo. I never knew he said that. He does deserve to share in the credit."
