COLDPLAY - MARTIN 'STAR STRUCK' BY FRY

COLDPLAY star CHRIS MARTIN was overwhelmed when he met British comedian STEPHEN FRY - confessing he was completely "star struck" by his boyhood hero.
Martin, who is married to Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow, has a host of superstar friends - including Madonna and rapper Jay-Z - but he was only nervous when meeting the Gosford Park actor, because he has long been a fan of his work.
He says, "I went through a period of thinking, 'Oh, I won't say anything to Stephen Fry because he doesn't want to hear it.'
"I got to meet him the other day and I was very star struck by him but it made me happy to say, 'I think you're great and thanks for all the pleasure you've given me.'"
