Jazz icon WYNTON MARSALIS has attacked hip-hop culture, claiming the music is like "a 1840s minstrel show".
The trumpeter hates the popularity of rap, which he describes as "ignorant" and "corrupt".
He tells the New York Daily News, "I don't care if (rappers) are offended. I hope they're offended."
