DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - MARCIA CROSS GIVES BIRTH TO TWIN GIRLS

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star MARCIA CROSS gave birth to fraternal twin daughters on Tuesday (20FEB07) in Los Angeles. Cross, 44, and husband TOM MAHONEY, 49, married in June 2006. The girls, EDEN and SAVANNAH, are the first children for the couple. Cross' representative tells American publication People, "Mother and babies are all doing well." The star, who plays BREE VAN DE CAMP on the hit series, had been on bed rest since January (07). Producers of the show set up production at her home in order to finish her storylines on the series. She was put on bed rest as a precautionary measure and had a problem-free pregnancy.
