Madonna misses living in London - and regularly flies back to the U.K. so her adopted daughter MERCY can experience life in Britain.
The star fled to New York following her divorce from second husband Guy Ritchie last year (08).
She tries to split her time between the Big Apple and the British capital but has recently spent much time at her New York residence.
However, since winning her appeal to adopt Malawian tot Mercy James, four, in May (09) the superstar singer has been trying to spend as much time in the U.K. as possible, insisting she still considers London her home.
She insists the regular visits to the city are good for her youngest child - because many of her London-based friends have children of similar ages to Mercy.
She tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "A lot of my girlfriends here have kids so she (Mercy) has playdates every day.
"I still think of this as my home. I really miss my house here when I'm away. I love being here. I've missed my friends and it's nice to drive on the wrong side of the road again."
And the Material Girl insists Mercy has fitted right in with the rest of her brood - Lourdes, 12, Rocco, eight, and fellow adopted Malawian David, three.
She adds, "She fits right in with her brothers and sister."
