GUY RITCHIE - MADONNA MARRIAGE "HAS REACHED STALEMATE"

Guy Ritchie is flying to New York in a last-ditch bid to save his marriage with the Queen of Pop, a tabloid reports.

The Sun claims Snatch director Ritchie is crossing oceans – well, an ocean – to be with his wife who is rehearsing for an upcoming tour.

It says the pair want to make their seven-year relationship work for the sake of their children but cites a source saying it is now "make-or-break" time for the couple.

"They want to make the marriage work, but they are at a stalemate. Divorce is something they have thought about," the source said.

According to the Sun, Madonna has already engaged the services of lawyer Fiona Shackleton to deal with any potential divorce.

Ms Shackleton is the lawyer who represented Sir Paul McCartney during his recent divorce from Heather Mills.
