MADONNA - MADONNA HOLDS ONTO NUMBER ONE SPOT IN SINGLES CHART

Madonna has held on to the top spot in the UK singles chart for a second week running.

Her newest single, Four Minutes, featuring Justin Timberlake, topped the singles chart on a week of few new entries.

Sam Sparro's Black and Gold charted at number two in this week's chart.

Meanwhile, Estelle's American Boy, featuring US rapper Kanye West was at number three.

Number four in this week's chart was a new entry for Roll Deep member Wiley, with his new single Wearing My Rolex, breaking into the top five based on download sales alone.

And September's Cry For You made up the top five UK singles.

Flo Rida's single Low, from the soundtrack to the film Step Up 2 The Streets was at number six.

At number seven was Usher with Love In This Club, while Heartbreaker by Will.I.Am and featuring Cheryl Cole was at number eight and former number one, Mercy by Duffy charted at number nine.

Scouting For Girls' latest single Heartbeat made up the top ten.

Adele's follow up single to Chasing Pavements, Cold Shoulder, charted outside the top in this week at number 18.

In the album chart, the Last Shadow Puppets' debut album The Age Of The Understatement replaced The Kooks at number one.
