Scottish singer LULU is so obsessed with her looks, she has dedicated her life to finding new ways to combat the signs of ageing. The 59-year-old admits she spends a fortune on beauty products and works hard to maintain her youthful appearance. The Shout star - who has admitted to undergoing wrinkle-smoothing Botox injections - insists looking good is not about "luck and genes", but all comes down to how much time and effort you devote to your appearance. She says, "I'm a slave to my beauty regime. I've been obsessed with my skin since I was a teenager because I was always on television or being photographed. "At the first signs of ageing I started buying every product I could. I don't believe in good luck and genes. If you put in the work, you get results. "You can't leave your skin unattended and hope for the best."
