MATT DAMON - 'LUCKY' DAMON LANDED BOURNE ROLE

Hollywood star MATT DAMON insists he was lucky to land the lead role in THE BOURNE IDENTITY after starring in two critically-panned movies.
The actor claims All The Pretty Horses and The Legend of Bagger Vance were his worst ever career moves, but was grateful they were released after he was chosen for his role as Jason Bourne in 2002 movie The Bourne Identity.
He says, "Had those two film come out before Bourne, I don't think they would have hired me.
"That was when the phone stopped ringing. The rose-coloured lenses came off. It's a tough, tough business and it's tougher to maintain it than it is to break it. It's 'Oh I see, It's not about how nice a guy you are."
