STAR WARS - LUCAS ANNOUNCES LIVE-ACTION STAR WARS TV SPIN-OFF

STAR WARS creator GEORGE LUCAS has started work on a live-action TV spin-off of the legendary sci-fi franchise. Lucas is refusing to reveal much about the highly-anticipated show, but he has announced it won't feature any of the famous Star Wars characters fans have come to love. He says, "The Skywalkers aren't in it, and it's about minor characters. It has nothing to do with Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader or any of those people. "It's completely different. But it's a good idea, and it's going to be a lot of fun to do." Lucas is also pitching a 90-episode animated Star Wars spin-off TV series, called The Clone Wars.
