Welsh rock band LOSTPROPHETS are celebrating after they were named Best British Band at the Kerrang! Awards on Thursday night (23Aug07). The rockers have now won the award two years in a row after beating Muse, Enter Shikari, Biffy Clyro and Funeral For A Friend to the title. Elsewhere at the London award ceremony, MAChine Head's The Blackening claimed Best Album honours, actor Jared Leto's group 30 Seconds To Mars won Best Single for The Kill, and My Chemical Romance scooped up the Best International Band award. Rising rock band Enter Shikari won Best Live Band and the Spirit of Independence Award. Judas Priest took home the night's Hall of Fame honour, while Nine Inch Nails received the Icon Award from actress/rocker Juliette Lewis.
