LOST PROPHETS - LOSTPROPHETS HATE PRETTY BOY IMAGE

LOSTPROPHETS frontman IAN WATKINS hates his band's pin-up status and blames their image for the way they're treated by fellow musicians. The Welsh band got into a fight with fellow British rockers DRAGONFORCE after an awards ceremony in London this year (06), when Dragonforce singer ZP THEART verbally abused guitarist MIKE LEWIS. Lewis confronted Theart, who later backed down, and Watkins blames the altercation on Lostprophet's "misleading pretty boy" looks. He says, "People look at us and think we're these pretty boys. "But we're working class Welsh kids. We stick together. And if something goes off, then it goes off."
