LINDSAY LOHAN and her close friend SAMANTHA RONSON were forced to make a daring escape from a hotel room after they were locked in by a malfunctioning door.
The pair reportedly became trapped in a room at the Bowery Hotel in New York on Sunday (27Jul08) and was forced to climb over their second-storey balcony to make their exit.
However, the duo was aided in their escape by a group of concerned hotel staff.
A source tells the New York Daily News, "Thankfully, the busboys and wait staff were there to climb up and help the girls down. Lindsay and Sam were laughing hysterically. They thought it was the funniest thing ever."
