LOHAN'S FATHER: 'I THOUGHT I WAS TEENAGER'S DADDY'

LINDSAY LOHAN's father MICHAEL signed 'Love Daddy' at the end of letters he sent to teenager ASHLEY KAUFMANN from jail - because her mother had him believing the girl was his lovechild.
Lohan is now contesting former mistress Kristi Kaufmann's claims and is awaiting the results of a DNA test, which will determine whether or not he really is the 13-year-old's father.
Meanwhile, Kaufmann and her teary daughter have appeared on U.S. news show The Insider, slamming Lohan for breaking promises and showing off the paternal letters he sent to Ashley while he was serving time behind bars for a DUI and other charges in 2005.
And Lohan admits the letters are from him.
He says, "She actually had me believing I was her daddy and I actually put that in the letters. I said, 'Call me daddy.'
"But after what I've read and what I've heard and what I've found out, there's a chance I'm not."
