LLOYD WEBBER ENTERS DIGITAL AGE

Musical theatre supremo SIR ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER has made his entire catalogue available for downloading on the internet. Lord Lloyd-Webber admits he prefers to keep his own music collection on vinyl, but he recognises the need to enter the digital age and has sealed a GBP10 million ($5.55 million) deal with industry giant Universal Music. The British song writer has an extensive collection of titles and has sold more than 30 million singles and albums since 1970. He says, "I am delighted to announce these significant deals and thrilled that my entire catalogue can now be downloaded. "I say this although the bulk of my own music collection is on vinyl."
