LISA MARIE PRESLEY - LISA MARIE PRESLEY'S AIDS SACRIFICE
LISA MARIE PRESLEY is allowing her image to be used in an AIDS campaign - even though she hates publicity. The daughter of ELVIS PRESLEY lives a private life with husband MICHAEL LOCKWOOD and two children DANIELLE and BENJAMIN. But Presley, who is passionate about finding a cure for AIDS, has agreed to be the face of the MAC Aids campaign. Presley says, "Unlike many others, this is the real deal. One hundred per cent of the proceeds of the lipsticks they sell will go to people who need it and it is something so worthwhile. I mean, who could refuse to pay $20 (GBP11) for a lipstick that can buy baby formula for children in Africa?"

LISA MARIE PRESLEY is allowing her image to be used in an AIDS campaign - even
though she hates publicity??? Ok the part that says that she hates publicity
should make us all laugh our hearts out. You don’t hate publicity when you go
on promotional tour, have music albums out, make a marriage to Michael Jackson
and Nicolas cage and every now and then your face is on the tabloids!!! As for
allowing her image to be used in an aids campaign, good for her., well well for
her in a way. But why should we praise her and all the other public figures for
doing something like that???Isn’t this what a true and dissent human/artist-
being is supposed to do? I mean is there an artist that said no to a proposal
for an aids campaign or for a charity??? it would be supposed they should do
things like that!!!!
