LIL' KIM QUITS ATLANTIC

Rapper LIL' KIM has quit Atlantic Records after a lengthy business relationship with the label, founded by the late AHMET ERTEGUN. The hitmaker plans to release her upcoming as-yet-untitled album, her first since her jail stint last year (07), independently. Reports suggest Kim will join Fat Joe at Imperial Records.
