JULIETTE LEWIS - LEWIS SLAMS HILTON

Actress JULIETTE LEWIS has hit out at PARIS HILTON's recent attempt to become a pop star - insisting she is only famous as "someone who is in magazines". Lewis has successfully made the transition from acting to music, and tours with her band JULIETTE AND THE LICKS. But she's not impressed with socialite Hilton's new single STARS ARE BLIND and with her status as a celebrity. Lewis says, "You have to analyse what a star is. She's just someone who is in magazines. The preoccupation with all that says something about people, but I'm not one of the preoccupied ones."
