EURYTHMICS - LENNOX: 'I TURNED DOWN TIMBERLAKE AND THE STONES'

Former EURYTHMICS star ANNIE LENNOX turned down the chance to open for THE ROLLING STONES and two opportunities to appear on stage with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE. The SWEET DREAMS (ARE MADE OF THIS) singer was so busy working on her fourth solo album and attending charity events that she was forced to refuse the offers. The 51-year-old star reveals, "I'm inundated with requests and it's quite challenging trying to sort through everything and come up to the plate. No complaints on that score though. "I was invited to support the Rolling Stones on tour and appear with Justin Timberlake on two awards shows. "So that was very nice to be asked, but right now I'm just staying with what I've got to create musically and figuring out what I might do next year because I would like to perform again at some point in the not too distant future."
