ANNIE LENNOX is plotting a comeback after teaming up with ALANIS MORISSETTE's songwriter-producer GLEN BALLARD on her "most intense" album. The former EURYTHMICS star and Ballard are working on Lennox's first album in four years. Grammy Award winner Ballard tells Billboard.com, "It's a very intense record. It's very personal to her. We spent a lot of time making sure the music was the way she wanted it." Ballard's slate is very busy - he's also producing RENT star IDINA MENZEL's debut album.

I just have to say for the record that this upcoming album will not be Idina Menzel's debut album. She released the albums "Still I Can't Be Still" through Hollywood Records in 1998 and "Here" through Zel Records in 2004.
