ANNIE LENNOX - LENNOX COMPARES WHEELCHAIR JOURNEY TO TAYLOR

ANNIE LENNOX felt like Hollywood actress ELIZABETH TAYLOR when she was lifted from a plane in a wheelchair following a back injury.
The singer was in Mexico for the International Aids Conference earlier this week (beg11Aug08) when her back "went into a spasm" and she was rushed back to England.
She says on her MySpace blog, "I came back to the U.K. and got wheeled off the plane - a first I must say. I felt a bit like Elizabeth Taylor.
"I got an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan this morning and am now sitting up in bed with my left foot like a dead fish, freezing and numb.
"I'm going to have to get myself a crutch and a parrot so I can fob myself off as a pirate and scare the neighbourhood pre-schoolers."
